The Broadway hit “Hamilton” by Lin-Manuel Miranda continues conquering the world or at least the United States with a second national tour that launches in Seattle next year before it moves to Cleveland, Vegas, and various other stops.
The second national tour will be the fourth “Hamilton” production to play concomitantly in the United States. It will be joining incarnations of the show running in Chicago, Broadway, and the first national tour that recently started giving performances in San Francisco before it moves to Los Angeles later in the year. A London staging is also gearing up that will bow in the fall.
“Hamilton” is flourishing since the demand for hot musical shows does not seem to be slowing. The production constantly plays out to sold-out crowds on Broadway and demand is sufficient enough to promote robust sales even at premium prices that have reached new highs in recent times. The show’s box office has topped $3 million in recent weeks even in non-holiday frames.
The launch of the new touring production will be a 6-week run staring 6th February, 2018 that will be followed by stops in Costa Mesa, California, Salt Lake City, Oregon, Portland, Cleveland, Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas.
